Yes! Students can use the CARE Society to enrich their homeschool, hybrid, or full-time school experience. Our programs are designed to be flexible and complementary, so students can participate in clubs, courses, or learning pods without needing to replace their current education. For homeschoolers, CARE Society provides structure, community, and coaching to support self-directed learning. For students in traditional schools, it offers a creative outlet beyond tests and homework—an opportunity to pursue passions, build real-world projects, and connect with peers globally. Families are free to choose the level of involvement that works for them, whether that’s joining a single workshop, engaging in a weekly pod, or taking part in ongoing project-based courses.
Students and families choose how much time they want to spend on the CARE Society network. Some join pods or courses that meet several hours a week. Self-directed students may spend less structured time but often engage deeply in collaborative projects and the creation of real-world work that reflects their passions and interests. Each student’s time commitment depends on their goals, interests, and how they want to participate in the community.
We use AI as a tool to support student learning and creativity—not to replace it. Students may use tools like ChatGPT to help brainstorm ideas, research topics, improve their writing, and enhance their projects. We teach responsible AI use by encouraging students to remain the authors and decision-makers of their work while using AI as a collaborative assistant to refine and extend their ideas. We believe that learning how to use AI appropriately is a key component of Digital Intelligence and is essential to becoming Life Ready in this modern world.
A Creative Project is one that is both Original and Valuable. Original means the project reflects the student’s own creativity, perspective, or unique approach—something that hasn’t been done in quite the same way before. Valuable means the project has value for someone, whether by solving a problem, teaching others, providing entertainment, or improving everyday life.
When a project is both original and valuable, it not only captures attention but also makes a real impact. Creative Projects help students develop critical thinking, creativity, and real-world skills by turning their ideas into meaningful work that matters.
