CLUBS, HUBS, PODS, & WORKSHOPS

At the CARE Society, our core programs bring our conviction to life through a caring, collaborative, project-based environment where students lead their own learning, create real-world work, and grow alongside others. We are hosted on Mighty Networks, a private platform for our communities that connects teenagers with peers, parents, and mentors; clubs and workshops ignite curiosity and confidence; and learning pods and courses offer structured collaboration to deepen projects and develop real-world skills. With the Family Learning Hub and Parent Coaching, families of younger learners receive the guidance they need to foster self-directed learning at home. Guided by the CARE Learning Framework, students cultivate creativity, leadership, and life-readiness—

rooted in curiosity and compassion.

Learning Pods

Learning Pods are central to the CARE Society experience, but they look different at each stage of a student’s growth. Pods evolve with learners—starting with playful, parent-supported activities and gradually building toward self-directed, student-led projects that prepare young people for life-ready independence.

Explorers (Preschool): Our youngest learners explore through play and curiosity while parents guide them in simple Creative Projects—like drawings, songs, or building activities. Parents also receive coaching to support curiosity and creativity at home, while children begin learning the joy of sharing their work during short Demo Days. Pathfinders (Early Elementary): Pathfinders start taking more ownership of their projects, documenting their ideas and learning to evaluate them as original and valuable. Parents still provide support, but students are encouraged to present their own projects during Demo Days. Pods meet weekly for coaching and collaboration, and students may begin joining clubs to explore their personal interests. Builders (Late Elementary–Middle School): Builders dive into deeper projects, applying their growing skills to real-world ideas. Pods meet multiple times a week for goal-setting, project coaching, and collaboration, with Demo Days at the end of each week. Students practice independence, teamwork, and critical thinking, while educators provide structure and guidance to help them connect their projects to real-world value. Innovators (Middle–High School): Innovators are ready for autonomy and leadership. These students often design complex, multi-step projects, join advanced clubs, and may even lead pods or organize community events. Pods at this stage may be student-led, cooperative, or coach-guided, emphasizing independence, collaboration, and real-world impact. Innovators emerge with the skills, confidence, and experience to be truly life-ready.

WORKSHOPS & FAMILY HUB

Courses & Workshops

Project-based courses connect students with educators who design unique, interest-driven courses that stretch creativity and ignite curiosity.

Workshops emphasize hands-on learning without the expectation of a completed project. Short, skill-focused sessions (often one hour) help students gain practical tools or explore specific concepts.
