A Day in the Life of CARE Society Students
Base Membership – Clubs & Community
A student subscribed to the Base Membership might start their day by logging into our Mighty Networks platform to catch up on club discussions. Later, they join a live club session—perhaps a creative arts demo or a STEM challenge—where they collaborate with peers and share ideas. The rest of the day is flexible, leaving time for other educational programs, independent projects, connecting in community chats, or exploring resources in the clubs. This subscription is best for those who want to explore the network, find peers to collaborate with, and begin to learn about project based learning on a self paced journey.
Premium Teen Membership – Courses & Coaching
A student subscribed to the Premium Teen Membership’s day begins with a check-in on goals they set during their last coaching session. They attend a 4-week project-based course, where an educator leads interactive lessons and guides them in designing an original project. Between course meetings, they might attend a short workshop to build a new skill, then circle back to their coach for feedback and encouragement. This subscription is best for those who are interested in having more accountability and structure and would like some guidance in setting goals and directing their learning journey.
All Inclusive Teen Membership – Courses, Workshops, Coaching + Learning Pods
A student subscribed to the All Inclusive Teen Membership starts the week in their Learning Pod, where a coach helps the group set weekly goals. They spend time working on their Creative Project, building independence while collaborating with peers. In the afternoon, they might join a club or workshop to explore new interests, then meet 1:1 with their personal coach for guidance. Their week ends with Demo Day, where they share their projects and celebrate progress with their pod and family community. Parents, meanwhile, benefit from premium coaching and consults to align home learning with their child’s growth. The All Inclusive Teen Membership is best for those who want to go all in and shape their entire learning journey around project based learning.
Parents
Parent accounts are free with teen memberships. We want parents to be involved in our network and see what their kids are up to! Parents will always have access to all rooms that their children have access to. If a teen has a Tier 2 subscription, the parents will have access to any spaces they are in, even if parents have a Tier 1 Subscription.
